Living Forest Connecting Landscapes FASB
The Living Forest Connecting Landscapes FASB is being carried out with funds from iNovaland Investment Limited and the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES), totalling around 3 million euros, which will support ecological restoration and the strengthening of the restoration production chain to form ecological corridors in Bahia.
Origination
FASB is a project origination and acceleration program, providing technical assistance from the initial stages to full implementation. This approach reduces risk, enables high quality and accelerates expansion.

FASB's technical assistance to projects covers the following areas:
- Technical support for filling out the form to properly comply with the Call for projects.
- assistance in preparing the proposal, clarifying doubts and technical analysis of proposals.
- Technical recommendations for resolving problems faced by contracted projects.
- Technical field visits, aiming to guide the development team.
- Strengthening and improving the relationship network between project executing institutions.
Call for projects
Connecting Landscapes is executed by Public Call, with FUNBIO being the operational manager and responsible for its conduct. The Call aims to select projects for the implementation of ecological restoration actions aiming at the formation of ecological corridors in the south of Bahia and north of Espírito Santo.
A data de lançamento do Edital foi 03 de Junho a 05 de Agosto para submissão de projetos.
Foram 16 projetos recebidos nesse período, sendo 7 de estágio 1 e 9 de
estágio 2. Ao total foram submetidos projetos de 16 instituições diferentes , 5 delas localizadas no
Espírito Santo, 10 na Bahia e 1 trabalhando nos dois Estados.
O resultado dos projetos aprovados será divulgado até o final de 2024.
