Connecting Landscapes

Living Forest Connecting Landscapes FASB

The Floresta Viva Conectando Paisagens FASB (Living Forest Connecting Landscapes FASB) project is being carried out with funding from iNovaland ® Investment Limited and the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES), with a contribution of around €3 million – divided into two calls – to support ecological restoration and strengthen the restoration production chain for the formation of ecological corridors in the Hileia Baiana.

Origination

FASB is a project origination and acceleration program from iNovaland® that works directly with project developers and investors, providing technical assistance from the initial stages through to full implementation and monitoring results using well-established indicators presented in periodic reports. This approach reduces risk, ensures high quality, and accelerates expansion.

Technical assistance

FASB's technical assistance to projects covers the following areas:

  • Technical support for filling out the form to properly comply with the Call for projects.
  • assistance in preparing the proposal, clarifying doubts and technical analysis of proposals.
  • Technical recommendations for resolving problems faced by contracted projects.
  • Technical field visits, aiming to guide the development team.

Call for projects

Connecting Landscapes is executed by Public Call, with FUNBIO being the operational manager and responsible for its conduct. The Call aims to select projects for the implementation of ecological restoration actions aiming at the formation of ecological corridors in the south of Bahia and north of Espírito Santo.

The 2nd call for project submissions took place during the period from May 27 to August 29, 2025. Eight projects focused on ecological restoration and strengthening the production chain in the Atlantic Forest were selected during the second round of proposal submissions for the “Connecting Landscapes” public call for proposals.

Training Cycle – Floresta Viva Call for Proposals: Connecting Landscapes.
